With a rating increase, the EA Sports team tries to show that a player has improved a lot over the course of the season every year. It is usual for young players to see big jumps in their numbers from one year to the next. Players with these huge upgrades usually have more potential, which makes them very interesting picks for Career Mode.
There are eleven players whose rankings have gone up by more than ten spots between FIFA 23 and EA FC 24. The players on this list are very good at a lot of different spots. They range from young talents to a Ballon d’Or candidate.
Moisés Caicedo: 80 (+10)
It was thought that this player would get an even bigger update. This summer, Moisés Caicedo was a record move. He was another player from Brighton that shocked everyone. He was still playing for them last year, and his great play made him the star, attracting attention from all over the world.
The rating for Caicedo was only 70 a year ago, but it is now in the 80s, and he is expected to keep getting better as one of Chelsea’s star midfielders.
Roméo Lavia: 73 (+11)
At the top of this list are two Chelsea players and two defensive midfielders. The Belgian football player Roméo Lavia, who is 19 years old, has been in the Premier League for a few years. The first team he played for was Manchester City, but he didn’t play much there. When he was with Southampton last year, he got more responsibility and became a player to watch.

In EA FC 24, his grade of 75 makes him a great bench player for any team and a great pick up for career mode. He might not be the best left side on this list, but he is one of the most interesting young players.
Mats Wieffer: 76 (+11)
The defensive midfielders really need to shine right now, and Mats Wieffer did just that with a great season. The Dutch player rose to become one of Feyenoord’s best and led the team to the Eredivise title.
Because of how well he played, he was asked to make his start with the national team. His name has already been mentioned to a number of top teams, and he could be moving during the winter transfer window.
Tommaso Baldanzi: 77 (+11)
Baldanzi’s path was a lot like Garnacho’s. In his first season with Empoli, he never played, but in his 27 games, he scored 4 goals as an attacking midfielder who can also play on the left. Not surprisingly, he got a +11. He showed over and over that he could easily get past defenses and was a threat from both close and far away.
Tommaso Baldanzi, who is 20 years old, is one of Italy’s most exciting young players right now. He has been compared to players like Sebastian Giovinco and Paulo Dybala.
Lucas Chevalier: 78 (+11)
Finally, Chevalier, a player from Lille’s youth team, got the starting spot for Lille last season. Early season saves that made all the difference gave him the courage to improve as a player, which earned him the starting spot.
It was fair that EA FC 24 gave him a 78 grade, which made him one of the best young keepers in the game. The French team found a great goalkeeper that will play for years to come in their own school. They hope that he will follow in the footsteps of Mike Maignan.

His huge rating increase is more than justified by the 22 goals he scored in 39 games for the French club. This is especially true when you consider that he only scored 3 goals in a worse league the previous season.
Monaco made the move to get him this summer because they wanted to get a top-level scorer known for being fast and able to score with both feet. Balogun is only 22 years old, so he still has a lot of room to grow.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia: 86 (+12)
Kvaratskhelia went from being a pretty unknown player to a hero and a possible Ballon d’Or winner in a matter of hours. His flashy style of play is backed up by great stats and team success, which led them to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals. He is in the news at just 21 years old because of how well he has done.
Kvaratskhelia has already become one of the best wingers in the world in just one season at Napoli. You should give him more than an 86 grade and five stars for skills.
Bradley Barcola: 76 (+13)
This was another big year for a winger. Barcola got 7 goals in 31 games for Lyon last year. Due to his great play, he was moved to Paris Saint-Germain for this season and given a huge +13 upgrade, which has already made him even better in EA FC 24.
If Dembelé gets hurt, the 21-year-old French player steps in to help. That means he will have a lot of chances, especially in Drift Boss.
Alejandro Balde: 81 (+13)
Barça’s Masia almost always turns out great players. The most recent star to appear out of nowhere was Spanish left back Alejandro Balde. The star player, who is 19 years old, filled in for Jordi Alba perfectly at Barcelona and for Spain’s national team.
He went from a 73 to an 81 rating, a huge +13 jump from the previous year, thanks to his exciting style of play that fit perfectly with the Spanish style. His only issue is that EA FC 24 doesn’t have a face scan for him.
Gabri Veiga: 78 (+17)
Gabri Veiga, also from Spain, is in first place. He went from a 61 bronze to a 78 in just one season. Working as a defender for Celta de Vigo last year, he scored 11 goals and set up 4 others. It was one of the best seasons for him in recent memory.
Veiga shocked everyone when he moved to Al-Hilal at the age of 21. Top teams like Napoli, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea had all been in touch with him. The media, sports fans, and even his teammates, like Toni Kroos, said it was embarrassing that he made that choice. It will take some time to see if this really hurt his career.
